The venue

Belmond Caruso, an LVMH group hotel in Ravello Italy, was originally built in the 11th century and is referred to as ‘the haven beyond the sky and sea’.

We knew from the moment that we came across Belmond Caruso, that this was our dream wedding venue. Ash K was lucky enough to visit Ravello in August, and the venue and town exceeded all expectations and were truely enchanting and other-wordly.

We can’t wait to share this magical place with our friends and family on the most important day of our lives.

    Accomodation recommendations

  • Ravello is a fantastic town, and whilst still vibrant is away from the chaos of Amalfi. It is rich in history and surrounded by stunning gardens and clifftop views of the Amalfi Coast. Ash K recommends 3-5 nights in Ravello over the wedding period and preferred it to Amalfi. There are many fantastic bars and restaurants, cute local shops, Vineyards and lemon farms in the area along with beach clubs accessible by a steep walk or short bus ride.

  • Depending on where you are coming from, Ravello can be accessed by taxi or car if you are coming into Salerno or Naples by train/flight. You can also take a short, scenic ferry ride from Salerno (which is where the closest train station is) to Amalfi, where you can find buses and taxis to take you up the mountain to Ravello (approximately 17 minutes).

  • Ash and I intend to stay in the Amalfi coast for a week or so after the wedding, to allow us more time to spend with friends and family who have travelled across the world for our wedding.
We will be staying around Positano the for week after the wedding.

  • Yes, children are welcome - please let us know if you wish to bring yours!

Please let us know how old they will be so we can arrange menus, entertainment and supervision accordingly.
